: I recently bought this game for my two godsons---ages 10 and 13. Their mother wrote me this week to tell me that they've been playing it non-stop! I didn't think anything could get them out from in front of their TV or video games, but Yatzee has done it!I played this game as an adolescent, and I remember many fine hours of entertainment with friends. It brings people together, around the table, and opens doors for real, old-fashioned conversation. I recommend it for anyone who has a godchild!
Ok so it's not the thrilling action packed game the origanal one is, but on the "Seat" it will do. I will say that I've never gotten so many yahtzees before (4). My high score is 649! A couple of things that could be better. I marked it down on the durability becasuse the LCD screen can get craked if your 2 year old gets a hold of it. I also wished you could have more than one player or at least a computer player.
The electronic version of Yahtzee is truly addicting. It's more fast-paced than the traditional version and can be played like Solitaire, only there's no cheating! The size makes it easily portable...great for the beach, a subway ride, or sitting in a doctor's office. The sound can become annoying to people around you so there's a mute feature so you can hide your addiction. Great value and endless hours of fun.
i only have a few words for this game,one is brilliant and it keeps my wife occupied for hours,she loves it.
This game is SO addictive! I play it while watching TV, on the Bus/Subway commuting to/from work, but DON'T play it while driving the car...! Its also great to have in the 'reading room'! Be sure to have extra batteries!
