This CD is so amazing! I absolutely love it. I could listen to it forever and not get tired of it. She has grown so much since her first album. I didn't really care for her first album in general, but this one is so good! My favorite tracks are "Barcelona" and "Absence of Fear". The only one I don't like is "Fat Boy". Go get this album!!
When I first heard this song I knew that I was going to enjoy it. And to think she was going to quit writing songs. This is one of JEWEL's better songs. It is far better than half of the songs on the PIECES OF YOU album. Jewel shows us, through the use of music, that life can be simple if you don't play spectator and actually involve yourself . I am going to buy this single when it comes out.
Jewels previous CD, "Pieces of You" shows a deeper side of Jewel as she portrays a harsh bieng of some sort. Her new CD, "Spirit" shows a more mature side and also proves (as if she needed to) her true talent as a singer and song writer. I truly recomend you hear the music on this new CD, nothing else comes close.
 I have been a fan of Jewel for a long time but I only got he CD like last year I think. Her songs make you think and the lyrics are like poetry. I just got her book "A Night Without Armor" and it too is great.She had a gift. Hands has becoem my favourite song. The words to the first verse are magical and the video is great too. Can't wait until the CD is released.
