: I love SEX AND THE CITY so much, I can't wait to have the DVD. I believe that the comedy is funnier and more sophisticated than many of today's movies, so it is going to make for fantastic repeated viewings! I could watch the lives of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda forever. I hope they release the second season, too!
 HBO is trying to push the envelope with this trash. It is very sad that these women seek to find love through casual sex as opposed to true meaningful relationships.
If you have ever been single and/or ever lived in NYC, you will love this show. Fun, witty, smart, sophisticated, and clever. Plus, they all wear great clothes. The acting can be over the top, but that is what it is all about--being "single and fabulous" in New York City is not for the weak at heart. All I can say is, I hope they keep making new episodes, because when HBO doesn't broadcast Sex and the City, Sunday nights are just not the same.
I cannot wait for seasons 3 and 4 to become available on DVD. Until then, I will enjoy the 1st and 2nd seasons again. I am almost ashamed to admit I watched all six hours (2 DVDs) of season 1 in one day. I was home sick and nothing couyld have made me feel better. These characters may live lives a little out of the norm for most of us, but they are likable, relatable and interesting. Some episodes are laugh-out-loud funny, and some have a serious message... but all are wonderful!
 This is an entertaining, well-written series. The real star is the city itself. What a great setting! Also great looking stars.
