Here are some customer reviews of Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money--That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! :

This book shows me in diagrams, examples, and stories how I have created my financial situations. I have done what my parents have told me, go to school, get a degree, get a job and then retire. Boy, have they been off. After reading this book I only want to do what everybody else isn't! Learn for knowledge, be not afraid of money, and go out and create a successful side business. From now on my mentors are going to be only the people who have been successful in whatever I am undertaking. I choose not to listen to another cynic!
This book is great! I plan to read it again and again to make sure I have not missed anything from a mentor.

I thought Rich Dad Poor Dad was a great book! I'm a senior in high school and I read this book for my Economics class. His experiences and words have taught me how to manage money. I have always been told to go to college, get a good enducation, have a career and then I will become successful. I realized that I am not taught anything about money in school. I need to have a strong financial foundation. In order to make money, I need to be financially literate and understnad the science of making money. There are also five important obstacles that I must overcome in order to make money: fear, cynicism, laziness, bad habits and arrogance. At times, the book was a little slow and it took Kiyosaki a while to make a point. Overall, the book was simple and easy to read and his advice will serve me in the future.

I read this book in one day. The points it makes, make logical sense without all the usual bull you have to get through in other self-help books. I wish the author was teaching in Australia - I would be sure to go to his classes. The book gives a clear picture of how we all make the same mistakes financially which prevent us form making money. I will certainly be reading the book again and starting to invest in the same way.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad has been my first business and economy book read. Thanks to this book I've learned more about the funcion of money and the financial information needed in order to have a strong financial life, free of debts and, frustration. Robert T. Kiyosaki presents us the 6 lessons that will teach us how to become millionaires, by having money work for us, and not make the mistake to work for money.

If you were ever interested in why the rich get richer and the poor and middle class struggle; see chapter 3, lesson 2. It is two years of college accounting in a few pages of easy to understand language and diagrams. It challenges the reader to consider what is actually an asset and a liability. This is what separates the classes.
