Here are some customer reviews of Rhinestone : Even though this movie is over the top and probably a little bit on the "cheesy" side, I thought it was one of the funniest I've ever seen. Stallone was really funny as a fish out of water and he and Dolly made a cute pair. Dolly's music was wonderful. For a good hour and a half of comedy and music this is a must see. Don't bother if you don't LOVE Dolly. This is one of my all time favorite movies and I am not sure why! It is NOT to be taken seriously at all. The acting is ok and the songs are funny. The jokes are lame, but for some reason this movie is a classic with my family. I would love to have it on DVD! Get in.... who thought of this pairing? nothing believable here at all.Dolly is a so/so actress at best.Sly is good for action films but not for comedys.he looks really dinky.skip this junk. rhinestone rocks out. plain and simple. the best stallone performance since 'italian stallion'. poor dolly had to teach him how to sing or else copulate with a fat guy. the theme song alone is worth the price of admission. this should be released on dvd to cherish for generations to come! even more gripping than the carebears movie! and oh yeah - dolly's numero freakin uno, dude! rev up the john deere dutchie cause this baby's ready to plow! Dolly and Sly was great! She sure had her hands full turning him into a cowboy but, she did. This is a movie everyone has to see!
