: With Marilyn Manson selling out and metal no where to be seen it was only a matter of time before the masters of metal returned.The 2 studio tracks arguarbly top all previous Sabbath material.The songs are heavy, doomy,and intense. The rest of the album is live songs, and many of them have never been played by Sabbath before. This is the HEAVY METAL album of the decade.Fans of Heavy Metal,Doom,Goth,Death,Thrash,can rejoice for the madmen are back.
This is simply superb!! In fact the best comeback i have seen !! Theys guys seem to show no limits to ageing!!! Listening to the ppl who showed the world the way to rock is an experience altogether. Amust buy for any sabbath fan!!
A must have for any Sabbath fan. Sure they mess up a few times, but the spiraling intensity of seeing them in their club days is apparent here. The sheer awesomeness of the band who inspires 90% of the alternative and hard rock bands alive is worth the price of admission. The new studio tracks are right out of 1973. Killer.
This is the CD for all Black Sabbath fans, especially if you didn't go to the concert.
I'm not a fan of live albums but this one simply kicks *ss! Black Sabbath shows that at age 50 they can and do blow away any of those alterna-rock posers. The energy level comes across as unbelievably high for a live CD. I wonder how many times Ozzy says the F word though! The two new live tracks makes one wish this were a completely new studio album. Psycho Man sounds like half came from "Black Sabbath" and half from "Sabotage". Ozzy's voice with Tony Iommi's unique guitar sound can't be beat. Take heed you young boring bands...
