Here are some customer reviews of Restless :

Sara Evans' latest release should firmly entrench her as one of the leading ladies of country music. Always faithful to her country roots, Restless continues the tradition of showcasing Sara's powerful voice, strong lyrics, and impeccable instrumentation in a product that is solidly country. At the same time, this disk will appeal to a broader audience, just as Born to Fly did.

At times, her voice is reminiscent of Patty Loveless. The emotion and passion is highly listenable, and each track has been finely crafted to appeal to the traditional country listener as well as the soft rock fan.

This is clearly Sara's best album yet. Buy it.

This CD has a great range of emotions and tempos, proving how versatile Sara Evans really is. All of the songs have positive messages and her wonderful voice bring them to life. First up is the Troy Verges penned "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus", a touching story of shame, escape, life and hope. "Feel It Coming On" is a great, sassy song and "Big Cry" (a very true song about the cleansing powers of a good crying jag) has a very blues-y vibe. "Need to be Next to You" is a wonderful ballad and "Perfect" is an upbeat romantic song. "Suds in the Bucket" is an awesome swinger about a small town shaken up woman who lights out of there for something better, it is my favorite song on the CD. "To Be Happy" is fun, positive song about making lemonade when life hands you lemons and "Restless" is mid-tempo, with a cool Celtic tin whistle. This is by far one of the best country CDs to come out in 2003!

This CD Rocks if you like Sara Evans you'll love this cd.

Sara Evans' fourth album RESTLESS is a great album start to finish. After the taste of success she had with 2000's BORN TO FLY, Sara Evans returns with her most mature album to date. The title track is a great song with a celtic sound to it, Sara has said in interviews it's her favorite song on the album. "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus", is the first single and a strong contender. A song about a young girl who is run out of town when they find out she's pregnant, and she has the baby on a greyhound bus. It's a nice song you could see Martina McBride singing. The second single is the uptempo "Perfect", a song about love not having to be perfect as long as you're happy. The album opens with a great song called "Rockin Horse" which is pretty interesting lyrically, and an anthem in some ways. The standout ballad on the disc is "Niagara", a beautiful love song that would make a great single. Her version of "Need To Be Next To You" is beautiful as well. The uptempo songs "Feel It Comin On" and "To Be Happy" are great fun songs. "Big Cry" and "Otis Redding" are the most musically diverse songs on the album. Other highlights include "Suds In The Bucket", "Tonight" and "I Give In". Well worth your money. one of the best of 2003.

Well, Sara has done it again. I loved it from the first listen and it only gets better with every listen. The first seven tracks are incredible and all could be big country hits. Even though "Backseat Of A Greyhound Bus" hasn't really caught on with radio yet (only top 20)it is catchy and very easy for any parent to relate to. My favorite tracks would be "Niagara", "Perfect", "To Be Happy", "Need To Be Next To You" & " I Give In". Overall, a very solid country album with strong production (can you really overproduce an album?) and definitely variety.
