Here are some customer reviews of Rescue Fire Truck Ride-On :

The product advertised is NOT made by Safety 1st!!!! It is really made by Kids Trax. The only diffence we see is the steering wheel, so far. Even the picture inside the box on the flyer is not the same truck. But my kids enjoy it the same. Makes me wonder though, I thought I was buying a product from one company, that I have bought before, but it is some other company making this product.

My 4 year old son got his fire truck from Santa. Boy he sure loves Santa! I must say that he sings on the speaker as he drives putting out fires! He jumps off and pumps and sprays water on the fires! I think that this is super for their imaginations and it teaches them to help others. Real fires or not! It was very slow until we took the screw out. But, wow! It goes now. I think that this is a wonderful product and I hope that when you're looking to purchase a ride-on toy for your child that you will read these reviews and then go and have your child or the child in you, try this toy at the store. I rated this product with 5 stars! My 15 month old loves to wear the hat and ride along with his older brother. It is great just watching them interact with eachother as they go and save the planet from fires every where! The map shows where the fire is, too!! My son pushes the working buttons to honk at the dog or to sound the fire alarms.!! It's just great and worth every $ spent!!

This firetruck was a much loved Christmas present for my then 2 and 3 year old sons. My boys, and the neighborhood kids of various ages, have all had a great time with this toy. We've had it for almost a year now and have found it to be very durable, no problems with gears or fires (that is disturbing if you have read the other review, but we have had none of the negative experiences others had reported). We have exceeded the weight limit with some of our older neighbors, ran the battery down to nothing, and my boys ride it on the highest speed across hills with no problems. I highly recommend this toy, my neighbor has since purchased one with similar positive experience.

My wife and I first looked at the John Deere Gator ride-on, but were turned off by all of the negative reviews. While walking around Toys-r-us one day, we walked by to check it and our girls (yes, GIRLS) could not get off of this fire truck. They didn't even care about the Gator!! We broke down and got it for them for Christmas. While putting it together, I noticed one of the gear boxes was shattered. I took it back to the store and got a replacement truck. Assembly is a snap - literally less than 20 minutes to assemble (other than charging the battery). All of the decals are already on it. You only have to put the wheels on, put on two mirrors and two lights (all plastic, snapped in), and charge the battery. I have a 3 1/2 yr old girl and a 1 1/2 yr old girls. My oldest loves to drive around the neighborhood while my youngest wears the hat and laughs the whole way. Only thing bad I see is that the slow forward speed is VERY slow if going up any incline or with both kids in it. I have it set in HIGH speed and it flys! Everyone likes to see it in the neighborhood. Good job KidTrax!!!
