Here are some customer reviews of Planets :

I had not learned of Mark's replacement singer, till I had picked up this CD,when the first song played, immediately I knew. This whiney, higher pitched voice was earache invoking and brings thoughts of whiney no-talent bands such as AFI or Dashboard Confessionals. I listened to every song on this CD, and was thoroughly upset at what a waste of money it was. I was even more disgusted at the rap song on this CD. I threw this waste of paper and plastic away. I wouldn't wish this music even on my worst enemy. Sorry Adema fans, if you're looking for Adema's true talent and music, it isn't here.If I could rate it less than 1 star, or negative stars, I certainly would.

I used to like adema, but since ive heard this cd, I really don't like it at all. It sounds bad. I mean, I give them props for trying, but the voice just doesnt flow with the music. They are all talented and should just go their seperate ways to find something better.

I bought this CD because im a big Adema fan. to keep this short i'll never buy another Adema CD again.

If you are a true Adema fan (who likes the voice of Mark Chavez) then there is no way in hell you are gonna like this album, I officially hate Adema now, this is not them at all, they should have changed their name at least, this is a complete disgrace to Adema's name, anyways if you WERE a true fan of Adema, do not buy this album, it sucks!!

K, I knew when I heard about this that Adema had a new singer, but since "Unstable" dropped I thought the band was over, and when I heard they were dropping a new one, I bought it on the first day it came out without ever even hearing the new singer, but I wanted to be surprised. Now, understand this: Marky Chavez is possibly the greatest vocalist alive in my opinion, even if he doesn't have a voice that would win him American Idol. So I knew buying the CD that it would never top Adema's first 2 CDs, especially their self titles debut, back in the days of "Freaking Out" and "Everyone"

Well, so I was proven right. Luke's vocals are nothing compared to Marky, and the change is so drastic that I totally agree with the guy who postsed earlier and said they should have change the name. I mean, it's a new singer, a new label, why not a new name? Now, Adema used to be my favorite band of all time, and they no longer are, but moving on to today where we stand now, "Planets" isn't actually that bad. They sound nothing like the old Adema, but if you forget the fact that they once were Adema and treat them as a new band, they're pretty decent. "Shoot the Arrows" blew me away when I heard it, Luke's voice is pretty good (When you're not looking at it next to Marky's) and the music actually sounded like the old Adema. The rest of the CD is a completely different sound, and I wasn't crazy for it really. I thought it sounded really soft, considering Adema used to be a Nu-Metal band, and I am in love with Nu-Metal. The second time through the tracks are starting to grow on me, and I'm sure that I'll love the new Adema soon enough, since the first time I listened to "Unstable" I hated it, and that became one of my favorites after not too long. Songs like "Enter the Cage" "Better Living Through Chemistry" and "Vikraphone" caught my attention as pretty good tracks, but nothing here is golden like they used to be. I'd recommend it to people who didn't like Adema before and the old fans, I would say at least give it a try. I did, and I'd say it's not half bad. If Adema made a followup CD with Luke, I'd buy it.

As for Marky, he should make a new band and kick some more ass like he used to in Adema, and I'd buy his stuff first.
