 I use these at work every day for at least 6 hours a day. My job calls for it. They're good depending on what your situation is. If you don't like flat hair, then it's good. If you don't want to pay too much it's good. It's decent for music usage. But for my use, it's primarily for voice and some music. It's great for the price! They're very efficient meaning you don't have to turn up the volume real high to hear. If it's for kids, then it's probably perfect because it's not too expensive and it's durable. I'd recommend them for all cases except for those picky about their music quality. After all, you get what you pay for!

I had this model of headphones and used them daily for nearly two years with my MP3 player until finally they developed a short in the wiring. I went to buy another pair but couldn't find them in the stores. Instead I bought the newest Philips headphones that were about the same price as these and was very disappointed. The new design is definitely not for the better. Luckily I was able to track down my old favorite here at Amazon. These are simply the best headphones you can get in this price range. Yes, better than Sony (which I have for misc use). These have good bass, treble, midtone, nice, clear full sound ... and comfy (once you get used to "street style" headphones)! 
I just received the earphones and tried it with my i-pod. The sound quality , the design and the overall quality is far below what I had expected. First of all, it does not sit on my neck, it keeps falling down my ears. My old ugly earbuds were much better in terms of sound quality. You dont feel the bass. there is something wrong with this stuff. i may return it soon.
