Here are some customer reviews of Outfoxed - Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism : What at one time could have been dismissed as an entertainment network, FoxNews has gathered a viewership that cannot be ignored. Which is very unfortunate since their coverage is anything but 'fair and balanced'. Their shows are full of angry men ranting about and whose testosterone level is only exceeded by their seeming hatred (for what we're never quite sure) of the evils of the liberal establishment (we're never quite sure who they are either, but we're led to believe its anyone who dare to question the just cause of the ultra-right wing of the Republican Party). FoxNews - it would be laughable only if it weren't so dangerous! After all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country. - Herman Goering, awaiting trial at Nurenburg Quite approprite me thinks. Ive watched this, and quite frankly, it is nothing more than a angry left-wing rant. It is amazing how angry some people can get when the news isnt always liberaly biased. The Way this director proves his point is simply by editting out only what proves it, and interviewing a few low-level workers to back up his point. If one low level worker can prove this man's point, then the countless number of high-level news anchors who left other networks for forcing liberal biases on there coverage should prove the point that most news stations are liberal. When a middle of the road news station is contrasted to all the liberal news outlets, it ofcourse looks conservative. But it does things other stations fail to do, get the right wing side of the story, not just the left. This is obviusly just another liberal filmamker who made a documentary that had to further show how evil the right wing is. For a wing of the government who has so many evil things happening, it is amazing how hatred pulls together the left. This DVD is simply amazing !!! Anyone who takes any time to research the truth on how our media works, such as through this documentary will be utterly amazed and enlightened on how the right have carefully and systematically manipulated a great deal of the population through repetitive and tremendously ingenious fear mongering, false data, and spinning of the truth. Before I saw this DVD and did my research, I've always enjoyed books by Orwell, but it is simply so astonishing and unbelievable how the media , in particular FNC has truly been able to fool and decieve such an enormous part of our population.Sometimes I wonder , what are we as people? Can we be that easliy fooled by the administration controlled media outlet? I guess we are a naive and ignorant nation if we choose not to question what we see and what were told ! Please !!!! see this documenatary and tell all your friends about it....educate individuals in your life who don't know any better !! Much of the current administrations tactic is to keep people in the dark about the truth, essentially keeping us dumb! FOX and other media sources indirectly and maybe directly serve the administrations idealogy and goals !! I personally implore anyone reading this review to make your vote count this November by getting rid of the worst President and his administration for good !! Lets take our country back !!!! Pretty good doc, they do a great job of using Fox footage to get their point across. Frank Capra did the same thing during WWII when he used the Nazi's own films agaist them. The film makers definatly have an agenda, but seem to be on target with every film. I like the point that American's think goverment propganda is something that goes on in communist China, not here. If there ever was a case for someone's conspiracy theory views to actually make sense, this is it.
