Ocean Wonders Aquarium Cradle Swing
: This swing is a God Send! We were given a Graco swing- the one with the little bears- as a gift and decided that we just didn't like it. The bears didn't move, it didn't swing side to side, the colors were bland, and the music was annoying. I returned the swing and paid the $30 difference to get this Ocean Wonders Swing. I put it together myself with no problems. Our baby loves this swing. He has colic and isn't easy to sooth but he loves to stare at the fish going round and round overhead and he really likes the different sounds. He's sleeping in it now and I can actually get some work done around the house for the first time in 3 months. Thank you Fisher Price. My only gripe is you have to hit the "reset" button to keep the fish moving. Other than that, this is a great product for babies and parents!
We purchased this swing when my twins were about 2-3 months old. I put my son in it, and he was absolutely mesmerized by the mobile and lights. He loves it and takes all his naps in this swing. My daughter loves it too but still prefers to sleep in her crib for naps. The two different rocking motions are great as I'd never seen that in a swing before.
The swing is a little noisy, but after awhile you get used to it and it can be calming for the baby.
One problem we had with this swing was trying to use rechargeable batteries. They don't last more than a couple hours and then have to be changed, so we had to use regular batteries, which got expensive. But when you have two babies, getting one to sleep more than an hour so you can get some rest is a must!
This swing, while a little pricey, is definetely worth your money! I highly recommend it!
The only way my daughther would sleep for two weeks was to be gently rocked by this swing - you won't be sorry if you buy this!
My daughter has severe acid reflux and keeping her upright for 45 minutes after eating was a chalenge but this made it so much easier. My daughter loves it so much she'd rather sleep in it than her crib! She's loves it so much we had to replace the motor, but it comes with a full year warantee so fisher-price covers the motor! It soothes her better than most of the other swings. It was well worth the cost.
Our friends told us we had to have a swing. They actually lent us theirs, but our son hated it. Another friend's daughter had just grown out of her aquarium swing, so we ended up with it. He LOVES it. My favorite options are that it swings from side to side, he gets to lay down (he's 7 weeks old), and the dome light is very soothing...it fades in and out through different colors rather than being flashy and over stimulating him. We're buying one for my sister in law for her first baby. I'd reccomend this swing to any parent!
