Now That's What I Call Music! 6
: this CD has some incredible songs that toped the billboards. This CD is great so you don't have to buy 15 other CDs for one single you like on it. It's also conveinent for carrying instead of 20 you only need one.
Britney Spears' "Stronger" has become a big hit lately. It's not a horrible song either. I'm sure we've all heard it, but if you don't listen to it 20,000 times it doesn't get old. ATC's "Around The World (La la la la la)" is one I was at first surprised to see on here. I didn't think that would get onto a NOW! CD. It's an international smash, though, and should be enjoyable a while. "Bye Bye Bye" by *NSYNC is a great song. Again, if you listen to it too many times, it's horrible. "Shape of My Heart" A Medium Speed song, is a hit. The album can't keep itself on NOW! forever, but for now, and NOW! 7, it's on. It's a good song. Samantha Mumba Songs are reasonable, but I wouldn't exactly call it a "Major Hit." Popular, but not a "major hit" Which is what NOW! CDs are advertised to offer. "Crazy For This Girl" By Evan and Jaron is addictavely easy to listen to. Nice tune, nice lyrics...... I don't have enough space to cover every song. I hope I eventually make it to the top 1000 reviewers! Your vote counts! Thanks! Bye.
I was waiting for this Now! CD to be released and I'm glad I did, this album is pure fun to listen to. The CD starts out on the right foot, beginning with Britney Spears, "Stronger" and rolls right on from there. Next comes Samantha Mumba's "Gotta Tell You", a song that will stick in your head, for a while, then 'N Sync's "Bye, Bye, Bye", then ATC's "Around The World", also on the CD are songs from, Jennifer Lopez, Destiny's Child and BackStreet Boys(who appears on all 6 NOW! albums), then there are the rock entries, with U2, Creed, Fuel(with "Hemorrhage" one of the reasons I bought the CD), Incubus("Drive" which is relatively new to the airways and not a bad song), and rounding out the CD, the big reason I wanted this CD, Everclear's "AM Radio", this is such a great song, an Everclear song I actually like. Now! 6 is a little better than Now! 4 and 5, but those two Now! CD measure up nicely with 6, however NOW! 6 is much better than NOW! 1 and 3, NOW! 2 also is in the same league as NOW! 4, 5, and 6. And yes you do skip over songs but all in all NOW!6 is a worthy CD, NOW I cannot wait until NOW! 7 is released in the summer. Good CD. A-
Now 6 is definetely the best CD in the Now series yet! I love it! Most of the songs are really good. I love ATC's "Around The World", as well as K-Ci & JoJo's "Crazy" because they have great lyrics and music. I also like Jennifer Lopez's song,, as well as Coldplay's and Destiny's Child's "Independent Women Part I", which is really good. Samantha Mumba has absolutely got potential, and I really like Incubus' "Drive", because I love the lyrics a lot. But my 3 favorite songs are as follows: 3) Fuel's "Hemorrhage (In My Hands), because the lyrics rock as does the music. 2) 3LW's "No More" because it is just a great song! But number 1 is Crazy For This Girl by Evan and Jaron, because it has awesome lyrics, awesome music, an awesome beat, and Evan and Jaron have got GREAT singing voices! But there's a downside...'NSYNC's song, even if it's good, is VERY old (1 year and 2 months old when this was released!), some might find Shaggy's song inappropriate (but I still like it), and I HATE Creed's "With Arms Wide Open", mainly because of bad lyrics, scratchy voices, and horrid music! All the other songs not mentioned here are good. Still, the upside makes up for the downside very well, and it's a great album for the pop listener, and I highly recommend this, as well as all other Now albums (except Now 3.) I love this album, and I can't wait for Now 7!
I usually let my kids buy the NOW cds. When my daughter brought home #6 with Shaggy's song on it, I was very disappointed. Usually the music is appropriate for all ages, but the Shaggy song is DEFINITELY not appropriate for young teens and pre-teens! If they left this song off, I would have rated it higher.
