This music compilation is crap. anyone who would even think about spending money on this obviously has no taste in music at all and can't even buy a worthwhile CD. If you buy this CD, I hate you so much. You're just a loser trying to be cool and tell people you like all kinds of music. well guess what?
no one does. you can't like rap, rock, country, and anythihg else at the same time without coming from a really messed up backround. once again, if you buy this, you suck
Like a good little music fan I've been buying all the NOW THAT'S MUSIC series, some were good, some weren't, but I kept buying them because I'm an audiophile and want to complete my collection...but I gotta tell you, this one is by far the worst of the lot.
There were maybe two songs on this entire CD worth listening to, the rest being made up either by crap (whoops, I mean rap) music you've never heard before, or songs that have been played so many times on the radio that listening to them is as annoying as nails scraping on a blackboard. This isn't music for audiophiles- it's a blatant attempt to make a buck off of gullible suckers like myself who will buy these CDs regardless of whatever garbage the publishers put on it because it's part of a series. If this CD was an automobile, it'd violate your state's Lemon Laws.
Keep this up, people, and my collection ends with number 16.
Hello, its me foolishmortal12 doing a kids review, since you can only put 1 review if youre a real customor now. I deleated my 17 predictions list under 15, since it would be wiser to put it under the current one. Now, ive noticed the only 2 other people with full predictions that put songs that are gonna be on Totally Hits 2004 Vol 2. Im not gonna talk about the tracklisting on vol 1 of it, cause I dont need to do that all the time with all compliations. Its a waste too. So ill just wait till it comes out to review it. Anyway, heres the updated list!
1. Ciara featuring Petey Pablo- Goodies (Hit 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 & Rhythmic charts, and big on MTV & BET)
2. Usher f/ Lil Jon & Ludacris- Yeah (Well "yeah", its old now, but since Hey Ya got on 16, this could still be on.)
3. Terror Squad- Lean Back (Pretty old now also, but a 1 Urban hit)
4. Ashlee Simpson- Pieces Of Me (Top 10 Billboard hit, and huge on MTV, obviously)
5. Britney Spears- My Preorgative (Yeah, the greatest hits album comes a week after Now 17, but is big right now, and will be alot bigger than Outrageous)
6. Juvenile f/ Wacko & Skip- Nolia Clap (Not a hit on "pop" radio yet, but top 15 hit on Urban)
7. Akon f/ Styles P- Locked Up (Although I personally cant stand this song or Akons voice, this is an MTV hit thats big enough to be on here)
8. Houston f/ Chingy, Nate Dogg & I20- I Like That (Huge on BET & pop radio)
9. Nelly- Flap Your Wings (Everywhere hit, and its Nelly, so thats saying alot)
10. BEP- Let's Get It Started (Its BEP, now their NOW mainstays)
11. Gavin DeGrew- I Don't Wanna Be (Big new artist, also big on VH1)
12. Nelly featuring Jahiem- My Place (One of the biggest radio hits of the year)
13. Skye Sweetnam- Tangeled Up In Me (Shes not really big yet, its just Capitol recordes & a good song)
14. Vanessa Carlton- White Houses (MTV hit, and Vanessa is a NOW mainstay)
15. Franz Ferdinand- Take Me Out (MTV & MTV2 hit)
16. Cheville- Vitiman R (Leading Us Along) (Cheville are also NOW mainstays, and an alternitive radio hit currently making its way to the top 5)
17. Bowling For Soup- 1985 (VH1 and pop radio hit)
18. Crossfade- Cold (Active Rock radio hit, and soon to be a pop radio hit)
19. Scissor Sisters- Take Your Mama (Not really a big hit, VERY VERY VERY sadly, but it gets airplay on Hot AC stations)
20. Good Charlotte- Predictible (GC are sort of NOW mainstays, and its becoming big)
P.S. Person, Alicia Keys, Monica, & Christina Agilera are NOT new artists, a TRUE pop fan from the 00's would know that.
As a DJ, I have always purchased the NOW discs - just to keep up to date on a few songs I didn't already have - and to make sure I had clean versions of popular songs. But this NOW CD is old news - the newest release on this compilation is "Redneck Woman" - and I've had that for nearly 2 months now.
NOW is slacking - and I would find a better way to get my music if they continue to be so far behind...
