No Way Out
: I have never heard such a bad album. The only redeeming qualities are samples hits like 'Every Breath You Take.' Puff Daddy is an obvious marketing ploy.
Puff Daddy makes Spice Girls look like musical geniuses. What has music come to? How to make a zillion dollars off of 15yr olds: 1) Pick music that's 15yrs old so people buying it will think I wrote it. yeah, uuuh, who's STING? 2) Practice reading the lyrics off of my old albums but toss in some expletive words. Every fu*king breath you fu*king take.... yeah, that's it I think I got a hit record now...
Puff Daddy is one of the most talented people ever. He is someone who will be in this buisness for a long time. He definetly is superstar material
For god sakes, i wish the rap industry will stop making remakes of old hits. Don't know what's worse, the ripoff artists or the consumers who buy their stuff.
Impresario, Sean "Puffy" Combs and his label Bad Boy, have established an eastern headlock on the world that is known as hiphop. On this sure to be classic release, the one called Puff is joined by his elite verbal blasting crew, Mase, the late, great B.I.G., the irrepressible, Lox and the rap vixen Lil' Kim. With enough 80's samples to keep all Patagonia-clad yuppies "down," this collection of grooves is an obvious and important addition to your rap library. No Way Out was, is, and will no doubt, continue to be, a HUGE financial success, and this recording has firmly established Puff Daddy as the rap kingdom's latest ruler. Yes, some hiphop hecklers call Puffy a style "biter," but others, not just those from the Atlantic side of the coast, including many, many cd buying fans, call Puff Daddy a hiphop genius! At times No Way Out gets a bit wack with the unfortunate rhythm and blues explorations, but when P-Diddie comes hardcore and correct...especially with the legendary Notorious One -- No Way Out is most definitely "all that!
