Here are some customer reviews of No Said Date :

After 11 years since the classic "36 Chambers" dropped the Wu-Tang has seen of dozens of releases. They've got the classics of course from their early days, but the last 5 or so years has seen many horrible Wu Tang albums.

But No Said Date is by no means bad. It's one the best Wu-Tang albums in a long time. Mainly because it actually sounds like the Wu-Tang. Masta Killa really takes it back to 36 Chambers with this album.

Masta chose to stay in-house for production on this cd and it shows. The beats are crazy and every single one is of top-notch quality done by The Rza, 4th Disciple, True Master, and Allah Mathematics.

Masta also chose to stay in-house for his guest appearances, featuring all of the Wu-Tang. And I have to say that there isn't one weak guest on this album. Raekwon, Ghostface, Gza, Inspektah Deck, they all rip it up on the album. Especially Gza and Deck on the track "Silverbacks".

So if you're lookin for a good hip-hop album, or if you're a fan of the Wu-Tang. Ya gotta pick this cd up. Plus I haven't even mentioned the cool and Free dvd that comes with the album. Its got tons of cool footage and audio from Masta and the rest of the Clan. So get get this. NOW!

When I first listened to this cd after I bought it, all i could think of was, "damn, this is what Method Man's cd should have felt like." Masta Killa, and all the production(Rza, Mathematics, True Master, ETC) made me proud to be a Wu fan once again. This album is not just good because 99.9% of new rap sucks, but because Masta Killa comes into his own with a killer lyrical flow. In most of the tracks, Masta Killa starts out with a nice, steady verse, but he kicks it into a 2nd gear halfway through the song, and you can really feel the intensity and lyrical assasination that Masta Killa is putting on us. This is what I have been looking for in a post-golden rap era album, tight production throughout the cd, with a connection between all of the songs, and an mc who has not sold out. I reccomend this to any and all Wu fans, or to anyone who is tired of the crap on the radio. No Said Date is up there with Tical, Only Built, Liquid Swords, Ironman, and Return to the 36 chambers. The best songs on this cd are the ones produced by the RZA(no said date, school, old man), but some other nice tracks include grab the mic(brock), DTD(mathematics), secret rivals(true master), last drink(mathematics), silverbacks(true master), and masta killa(baby dooks). The production is fantastic because they kept it all in house with Wu-affiliates, and this is what they should be doing on all Wu albums. Go pick up this cd so Masta Killa can get PAID for this masterpiece.

For a long time I could never figure out why Masta Killa hadn't put a solo album out. Its been 10 years since the first Wu solo album was release. I can understand why he waited so long, this album is a classic. This makes up for the joke of an album Method Man put out last week (which will sell more than Masta's album, now thats no justice at all). Masta Killa has so much to say on this CD, he is probably the second most knowledgable Wu-member, next to GZA. The production is also great, you won't find no P-Diddy production on this CD (unlike Meth's). The production on No Said Date is pretty much in house (RZA, Mathematics, and True Master). There are only 4 songs not produced by that trio, and they are pretty damn good too. Even the skits are classic, they sound like they came straight from 36 Chambers (except for the one with the kids rapping). The only part of the album that I didn't like was the out of nowhere Cheers theme song (not saying thats a bad theme song probably the best TV song ever), just didn't seem to fit. But this album is by far a classic solo album, definitely pick it up. If you are debating between this and Method Man's new solo, definitely go with No Said Date.

This album is the 5hit. ODB is as hillarious as ever on the old man track and the last track is best thing I have ever heard. If you don't have this album go get it right now; I am not kidding.

All that I have to say is - THIS IS TRUE WU. This album is a classic but I know the sales won't show it. True Wu fans will love it. True Hiphop fans will love it
