: Before buying the motorola hs820 I made sure to read the customer reviews on it. Some of the reviews weren't very comforting, but now that I've bought and tested the product I have to say that I don't agree with the negative postings. The sound quality is loud and clear, and i don't hear that echo that a few people have mentioned. It's loud enough in the car and in public. Battery life is excellent - I get more talk time with it than my v551. The mic is excellent as well, the people I talk to don't notice whether I'm using the headset or talking directly from the phone. The only complaint I can think of is that at times the headset feels like it's going to fall of my ear, but it I assure you the only way it'll fall off is if you tilt your head sideways and shake it violently. This headset is light, compact, and has a slick design. I strongly recommend this product.
I have had no echoing problem with my headset. I love it, I use it every day it is so easy. The range is pretty good too, I was about 7 townhouses away from my own forgetting that I had the headset on I was surprised when it rang and I answered it and had no problem hearing at all. It is louder than my other one as well. Sometimes when trying to turn it on or off I end up calling people.
I purchased this headset from Amazon about two months ago and I am amazed of the flexibilty of the use of this item. The hs820 takes cell phone usage to a whole new level. I have not had any problems whatsoever. The people that I have talked to while using this headset, when asked, could not even notice that I was not using the regular speaker. Great deal for this one. Stay away from the more expensive, less reliable (and attractive) hs850. I tried it for a week before returning due to the notorious low volume. Save $40 and pick this one up. You will not regret it!!
 The part that fits on your ear kinda digs into the back of your ear if worn for a long time but otherwise i can't find any real problems with it. Its a bargin.
I have used this headset for about 5 hours now on 1 hour charge. The reception is clear on both ends. My main and only problem with this device is that when you put the volume to loud it echos continuously because the speaker is no more than 1.5 inches away from the microphone. This causes feedback to continually generate resulting in having to lower the volume to its original setting. I am sure that this problem plagues all of these bluetooth headsets. Although the above could be annoying, I am happy with this one, it is sterdy and nice looking.
