Moonlight Becomes You
: I am a great fan of Mary Higgins Clark, have read every book she has written and tho I liked this book, I feel it is not one of her best. My favorite being 'Love's Music, Loves to Dance.'
I hope she does not go the way of many great writers who, once reaching a certain peak, start going downhill by pushing out too many books too quickly
I rarely read mystery novels. I usually read Tom Clancy-type espionage books. But I must say that this book really surprised me. It might even be a bit better than some of Clancy's (not all, just some.) It was very well written, with a great plot. The author did an ingenious job of rationing the amount of information given. The killer was the person who I thought was one of the least likely suspects. This is definitely worth reading, even if you're not a fan of this genre.
She keeps you guessing through the whole book You'll be surprised at the end. If you like mystery, you will like any of Mary Higgins Clark's books
My Mother has always loved to read... I share that trait with her. When I read this book, I was amazed! I've read Mystery novels before, but this one surprised me! It is the Best Book I have ever read... I have also listened to it on audio book, and I enjoyed that too. I greatly suggest that you buy this book, I know from experience, you won't regret it!
Your worst nightmare - waking up and
finding that you have been buried alive!! From the opening
chapter, you are hooked into the story. If nothing else, you
must find out what happens to the poor woman who wakes up to
find herself buried alive with a string attached to her finger
to a bell on the surface with no clanger.
Everyone has either a horror of or fascination with death and
Mary Higgins Clark employs that in her
best book yet. Also, Clark successfully kept the identity of the
killer from me until she decided it was time to let me in on
it - just the way I like it!
