Moo Baa La La La
: This is one of the first books my daughter began "requesting" that I read again and again. "Baa" was her first animal sound and the other sounds in this book soon followed. She now helps me read the book by adding the animal sounds as I read. I don't tire of the book either; a big plus!
This book is a favorite in our house. When I ask my 16 month old to bring me a book to read, she almost always brings this one. She laughs at the sounds the animals say and loves the "3 Singing Pigs Sing La, la, la" part! The words and pictures are simple but cute--perfect for a toddler. There is rhyme, rhythm, and silliness--all musts for a good toddler book. It's been a fun read for us and is highly recommended!
This is an excellent tool for kids who love animals. My 22 month old knows all of his animal sounds from reading this book and he reads it to us and to his babysitter. The pictures are colorful and vivid and I would say we see and hear this book at least twenty times a day.
Great for little ones. I alway enjoy Sandra Boynton children's books.
I am an American, first-time Mom, living overseas and am building a collection of kid's books, in English, for my 7 1/2 month old son. By chance, while on a trip to NY when my son was only 5 months old, I purchased this book. As sort of joke I immediately began reading this and other books to him thinking he was too young to respond. Boy was I surprised! If he even sees the cover from afar he grunts for me to read it to him! As soon as I finish he continues this over & over again! There are other books that he enjoys (Goonight Moon,Time to Sleep, Chicka Chicka ABC), however, none compare to his love for Moo Bah LaLaLa! As soon as those 3 words come out of my mouth he quiets. I am absolutely amazed and recommend this title to all new parents.
