I THINK NOT I THINK THAT THIS CD SHOWS HOW THEY HAVE MATURED INTO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY OVER THE YEARS AND GIVES US ALL A PREVIEW OF WHAT IS TO COME IN THE NEW MILLINEUM. The new CD from the Backstreet Boys, Millenium, not only tops their first release, but also puts them on a higher plateau. This sophomore release has to be one of the best CDs of the year. The songs are much more vocally challenging than those on their first CD and have great beats. "I Want It That Way", the first single off the album may be one of the few more upbeat songs, but every single song is unique in its own way and each is very "catchy". My personal favorites are "It's Gotta Be You" and "The One". For all you BSB lovers, his is a must buy CD for the next millenium! The Backstreet Boys have gone from being pop-hit heart throbs to respectable well centered vocalists. It is amazing to see how they have matured with their music and with the business. Throughout their career they have faced hardships like no other band has, at least not so early in their career. I have to congradulate everyone of them for their effort and perseverance. Keep it up! In the Backstreet Boys' slick pop follow-up to their better US debut, poor, soft love ballads and dance numbers abound as the Boys play it safe and by the numbers. From a stylistic standpoint, "Millenium" is nothing special. The vocalists range from a country crooner (Brian Littrel) to a Latino pop singer (Howard Dorough), which, needless to say, makes for bizarre harmonies. The Backstreet Boys produce standard mainstream fare to entertain the masses and this is their utterly drab product. this is the best cd ever i got its early and ohmigod all my friends are jealous of me they are the best group ever!!!!
