 WOW... first listen and I was hooked. So many good songs here.. and this woman knows just how to cook your speakers.. ***Melissa is Back*****One listen to Secret Agent will assure that.. can't wait to see/hear this live... The Ode to Flight 93 will give you chills.... Welcome back Melissa
This CD, however, shows a maturity in lyrics and musicanship. She has a song about and dedicated to Mark Bingham,the gay man, who with three others, brought down flight 93 in a Pennsylvania field on September 11, 2001. (Tuesday Morning.) There is song about having to hide your love because it is not accepted ("Meet me in the Dark.") Then there is a beautiful love song, with universal appeal ("When you find the one"). There are also some real rockers destined to be hits including "If you want to," and "Come on out tonight". I think Melissa will easily get three hit singles off of this record. I can play this cd over and over again and not tire of it. I notice new lyrics and instruments each time I listen. The songs on the cd describe emotions, to which we can all relate: love, rejection, hurt, sorrow and joy. I almost didn't buy this albume because I was not overly impressed with the last couple of discs. I AM GLAD I TOOK THE PLUNGE!

This album almost makes me want to go hungry to save up for tickets to her LA concert. I'm still in love with her acoustic playing and I will always want more, but this album is really, really good. Kiss Me drives and is sexy like "I'm the Only One."
