Here are some customer reviews of Lucky Ducks : This toy would be great for younger children if it were a lot quieter. When my 3 year old and I played for the first time, the noise was unbearable. My husband couldn't stand it and walked out of the room. The toy would be much better if the sound could be turned down. Not recommended for older children because, as other reviews have stated, they can figure out how to easily select the proper duck. I don't care how much a kid likes this game, the only way a parent can stand it is if you lock the kids in another room on another floor of the house and let them play it. It is so annoying! Could they make the endless quacking ANY LOUDER??? If you could turn off the quacking then it wouldn't be so bad. AAARRRGGGHHH! Don't buy this game if you don't like noise. Even my kids said it was too loud. Buy this game for someone you don't like! There are very few toys that I absolutely hate, but this is one of them. ...the game has its good points (such as teaching sharing and taking turns), but they aren't good enough to justify buying this game. There are other great toys that teach the same skills, and don't tempt you to swear in front of your kids. If your kids are absolutely stuck on having this game, I'd recommend stocking up on ibuprofen. And yes, it IS durable. Just what you want in your kids' most obnoxious toy. I ranked this low on two categories not because it isn't durable, but because it is so annoying. The box is barely big enough to hold the game. If you put it in a closet and set anything at all on top of the box, the ducks start quacking away. You have to always make sure this is the top box and that nothing touches the top of it. I hate it!! The nice thing about this game is that it is easy, my two year old can play along with my 4 year old, but I must say, I seldom take it out because it is just plain LOUD. There is no volume control and it just KEEPS QUACKING AND QUACKING AND QUACKING. If I had ever been at someones house who had this, I never would have let my daughter get it.
