Here are some customer reviews of Love in Stereo :

I enjoyed his first cd and did not hesitate to pick up the second. He maintains his style without duplicating the first cd. I love it!

I first heard "Friend of Mine" on a jazz radio station here in London, I knew I had to get the album, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was Rahsaan Patterson whose last album has still got me shaking my head in appreciation.

My first reaction on hearing the other tracks was excitement, the kind where you've heard something so great, you just have to share it with everybody, which is exactly what I did.

Rahsaan has the great gift of being able to smoothly convert emotions into music and lyrics, without losing the listener. This is something for people into tasteful, soulful music. Friend of mine is my absolute favourite and I'm unconciously choked up each time I hear it.

If I had bought this in Vinyl, I would have etched grooves so far into it, you would've sworn you could see daylight shining through from the other side.

Rashaan if you ever read this, please don't think of retiring just yet

This CD is good with a nice soulful flow, but compared to his first cd, this one is not as artistic. The sounds and songs favor his first cd too much.

I can't describe the feeling I got when I heard the debut of "It's Alright Now" on the radio. Ever since his first album, I'll buy any cd Rahsaan is on. I think he has an incredible style and I just love his voice. I have to admit when I first heard the second album, I didn't think it was good as the first, BUT.......IT IS! I think it's a different tone to this album, still funky though. I highly recommend this album. If he is ever in town check him out. He is an excellent vocalist and he sounds excatly like his CD's if not better.

The vocals are there... Some of the tracks scream 'Crossover' unfortunately. That song 'Do You Feel...' sounds too much like Chico DeBarge's current single, 'Give you what you want', also produced by Soulshock & Karlin... Patterson co wrote Chico's song... why didnt he say 'Uh.. wait up... this sound too much like Chico's ' Keyboard line also is reminiscent of Tracie Spencer's current single, also produced by S & K... (WHY DO PRODUCERS DO THIS? MR. JERKINS?? MR. FACE??)

As it stands, I still prefer the first CD to this one... Musically...

I hope he doesnt go too far into the mainstream... theres too many similar sounding songs on the radio... Which is one reason I loved his first CD... originality abounded. Regardless, his phrasings as always are exquisite. Who knew the little black boy from Kids Inc. would grow into such a talented song stylist?
