: Finally, a movie that reveals how much women's basketball is part & parcel to the American sports scene. As an avid WNBA fan who cannot play basketball, I marvel at the skill and dedication that these women have to and for the game of basketball. This movie illustrates that basketball is so important to the young women who work hard at the game and never get the publicity or respect for their efforts. I have seen the movie five times and will see it as many more times, just as I will continue to drive to Charlotte every summer to see WNBA until Atlanta gets a team.Angela Reid
Not only is "Love & Basketball" one of those great movies-nobody-ever-saw, it also makes a great DVD package. If you enjoyed the movie, I encourage you to buy the DVD, it's worth it. Love and Basketball is the best movie I have ever seen. It has a very clever plot and I love how it ends. I think Sanaa Lathan and Omar Epps performed this movie like it was their last. A must see.
I loved this movie! The best love story I've ever seen. The soundtrack is just as good, but the only thing that I didn't like was they didn't put that Maxwell song on the Soundtrack. I've recomended this movie to everybody i know and i feel it's my duty now to recomend it to everyone else. This movie is OFF THE HOOK. We honestly need more movies like this cause as of now, this type of lovestory has not been done any better than this. Throughout the movie, you'll laugh and suddenly feel the urge to cry a lot. Whether you're a basketball player (male or female), a hopeless romantic, black white, whateva, this movie is for you cause it touches everybody. BUY THIS MOVIE. When it's over you'll want to see it again so you might as well buy it instead of renting it. CAN'T WAIT TILL OCTOBER 10 so I CAN BUY IT. I'm truely feelin this movie, so do me a favor and check it out so you can get in on the conversation about it and not feel left out!
