Louder Than Bombs
: I love this cd so much, but it's such a drag to listen to! 24 songs, most of which I have to hear a few times each, and all of which are too good to skip over any one of them! That's hours and hours of listening, all to one cd...but well worth it. most of their best stuff is on here.
Well, what can I say? It's the Smiths. They are always good. Awesome lyrics, and dinstinctive, unimitable music. I love the Smiths...I really miss the Smiths. All tracks are WONDERFUL. The best tracks, the ones I play the most: Sweet and Tender Hooligan, Ask, Oscillate Wildly (oooooh, it's the best), Stretch out and Wait, Unloveable and the sad, haunting, beautiful Asleep.
I just can't get sick of this album...my cassette tape from 9th grade is just about worn out. I really should invest in the CD, but there is a certain charm to listening to it on my old cassette. Side note: I just recently bought Jude (no one is really beautiful) and it grabbed me the way this album did...check it out.
an absolute must have in any music collection..... "hang the dj, hang the dj, hang the dj, for the music that they constantly play..........." this collection of songs will introduce you to smiths and later to morrissey.... but u will fondly remember the first time u heard this album.
After 10 years of continued listening to Smiths' music, I still can't get enough of it.
