Laugh and Learn Learning Table
: I bought this for my son when he was about 6 months. We used it then without the legs attached. He loved it. As he learned to pull up on things we attached the legs. They were made different then and it flipped over on him very easily, which scared him. But he liked playing with it so much he kept at it. As I said, the legs are made differently now and it looks much more stable. If you have a little one just learning to pull up, you might try one out in the store to make sure it doesn't flip. Or, you could just leave the legs off until they are more proficient at pulling up. My son is now turning two and he still really likes this toy. I think toys are worth the investment if it will hold their attention for this length of time.
over all my 11 month old twins love the table and even more so now htat it's on legs but brings me to the first issue is that isslides on tile floors and it tips over. since they are always pulling and pushing it form one side or another i've had to place it on carpet and keep a close eye ont ehm so that they don't fall.
second thing is the apple keeps saying "blue apple" instead of red. Which is not a Big deal but it does get annoying after a while.
This table (and another we have) was a great buy for so many reasons. First, the music setting includes a wide variety of tunes from a latin beat to country-folksy, and it NEVER gets old watching a baby dance. You have got to hear the song played when the bowl is turned - hilarious! The legs come off for babies that cannot stand or pull up yet. It is sturdy and colorful with a variety of textures and activities. Infants practice balance leaning against the table and learn to walk by holding onto it and walking around to touch the other side. My son said his second word ever; By turning the apple, the table says "red apple" and my son repeated "apple." I couldn't believe my ears. I highly recommend buying this table and a few others if your budget allows. Babies seem to really like them.
I bought this toy for my son for Christmas when he was just 7 months old and he loved it from day one. There are plenty activities for little hands. The music and lights delighted my son. He loved to pull himself up and stand like and big boy and play with his table long before he could stand on his own. He is now 16 months old and still loves this toy, he plays with it almost everyday. It seems to me that he will not be growing tired of this toy anytime soon.
I had read the reviews and decided that this toy would be great for our 9 month old. Since he loves to stand up and play with things on tables (often to our dismay) I thought it would be great to get him one he was supposed to do that with. He loves it! He spins the bowl and "dances" and laughs. I do agree that it is a little short. Our son is 29in but he still has a blast with it. Overall I would recommend this product.
