Here are some customer reviews of Lamaze: Musical Inchworm : THE INCHWORM IS JUST OK, NOTHING SPECIAL. THE MUSIC IS VERY FAINT SO YOU CAN BARELY HEAR IT. This is a cute toy, but our 6 month old has yet to be interested in it. Its large size makes it difficult to hold for small babies. I know it's gotten many good reviews, so I'll keep trying... just know that very young babies may not get much use out of it! UPDATE... Our daughter is now 19 months old, and this inchworm has yet to catch her attention. Just not for her, I guess! My son is 4 months old and loves this toy. The textures and colors are great. My one complaint is that I caught him gagging on the pupple legs that extend off the sides of the worm. He had one leg completely in his mouth and was making gagging noises. As a precaution to keep him from choking, I have tied the legs together so that they are shorter. I would suggest this to anyone who buys the toy-- or possibly cut the legs off altogether. My child enjoyed this toy until he was about 7 months. All of the colors were wonderful and he loved to chew on the legs. It was his favorite for months!! A definite buy I never believed that a two-week old could have a preference for one toy over another. But right away the bright colors, contrasts, and huggable size were just his speed. At 3 1/2 months now, he is re-discovering the caterpillar, trying to eat its antennae, crinkling its different segments, etc. By far the best toy we have received. Washes great!
