: My daughter LOVES this item. My only complaint is that I was told it had an apple scent and mine was not scented at all. But as for as the cube and how it functions it keeps my daughter occupied for 10 min at a time.....amazing for a 3 month old who has NEVER grabbed anything before now....we LOVE it...and also highly recommend the garden bug footfinders if you can get a pair.
We bought the clutch cube for my son before he was born, and started letting him "play" with it when he was around two months old. At first, he just liked looking at the patterns and feeling the different textures, but it wasn't long before he was turning it over in his hands and using it as a teething toy. By the time he was four months old, he'd figured out how to open the flap, pass the toy from hand to hand, and shake it to hear the rattle. Now, at eight months, it still keeps him occupied when we go for a walk with rings to chew, scrunchy and soft textures, and the little bell that rings merrily as he bangs it on the stroller.
I'm afraid the cube will probably go to the "outgrown" box in the basement in the next month or so, but for the past eight months, it's absolutely been my son's favorite toy. This is the gift my husband and I are buying for all our friends' babies; you simply won't find a better or more engaging developmental toy for your little one!
I have a 3 month old son and the clutch cube is his favorite toy. He can hold it and shake it, he laughs when he does it. He is so cute when he plays with it. The bright colors and designs seem to mesmerize him. This is a must have for infants.
I purchased this for my son when he was 3 months old. At first he just tried to chew on it. At 4 1/2 months, he actually shakes it to hear the noise and enjoys playing with it. I like the fact that it is soft because he swings it around and hits himself on occasion. It is easy for him to hold onto and can easily link to the stroller for fun on the go.
My 4 month old son loves this toy! He likes to grab the handles, and is learning cause and effect by making the cube chime by shaking it. We really didn't care for the green apple scent, but it went away almost immediately after we took it out of the box. There are rings for baby to teethe on, and a peek-a-boo flap that also crinkles. This is a toy that will definitely capture baby's attention for a while! Also gets 2 thumbs up for durability! On an important note, all Lamaze toys are guaranteed for life :-)
