: If perhaps you are one of the few who hasn't given George Michael a fair listen, either by simly not getting around to it or by being embarrased by it,now is your chance. From an avid listener's point of view, its a great car cd to pop in and cruise, thinking of memories or making new ones. Guys, remember, its cool to appreciate the man and his music; gay or not, you gotta admit he's as cool as they get.
 George Michael is the greatest singer alive. He has an eight-octave voice that is much better than greedy 17-year old girls like Britney Spears(ugh!). But anyway, this cd is the greatest collection of great music anywhere! with tracks like Carless Whisper, Dont Let the Sun Go Down On Me, Father Figure, One More Try, Monkey, Faith, I Want Your Sex, and I Knew You Were Waiting for Me, this is a must for any true music lover!
It's amazing to look back and realize how long George Michael has been around. This album certainly took me back to times when singles were released. Three new songs (technically two since "I Can't Make You Love Me" was included in Older CD single) are great songs too. Each song's quality is absolutely awesome, but I couldn't help thinking that this lacks quality as album as a whole. All these singles reflect on his great talent as a songwriter, so this is a great album to introduce George Michael to others, but other than that, his individual albums (Faith, Listen Without Prejudice Vol 1 and Older) exceed the quality of this album easily. I was personally disgusted when I heard edited "Killer/Papa Was a Rollin' Stone." If you can't put the whole thing in the album, just don't even include it in the album!
This compilation of greatest hits is by far one of the best ever. I especially liked the format; disc one, all slow jams and the other, pure dance. This collection is a must have.
This is a wonderful compilation of the George Michael that I have followed since Wham! I love everything - the slow and the fast (especially the fast). I look forward to his next album (which he said shall be funky!!!)
