: This band needs to be heard by more people. Their cd absolutely rocks. I first heard of them while I was reading and article about metal bands from Massachussetts. These guys rank up there w/Staind and Godsmack. I reccommend this to anyone that likes their music loud and aggressive.
 i first saw this cd advertised on howard stern along with metallica and staind so i figured it had to be decent so i spent$10 on it. it turned out to be worth my while. it is the perfect blend of rap-metal like limp bizkits "3 dollar bill yall" and any rage album. this album has gutiar riffs perfect for the moshpit and a great lead singer who at times sounds like zack de la rocha. songs such as feel and perfect world are great songs that get u "pumped up". aftertaste and dark horizons have great guitar riffs. it could have done without the rap song "split" featuring breal but otherwise all other 11 songs are hardhitting songs
Following the lead of GODSMACK and STAIND, REVEILLE are making a name for the Massachusetts music scene. These Chelmsford guys are about to go big time! They produce AMAZING energy in their live show (Drew's vox remind me a lot of Zack De La Rocha of RATM)and this CD is phenomenal. Recorded at legendary Long View Farm studios, w/ the aid of producer Steve Thompson (Korn, Metallica), the CD is flawless from start to finish! If you like hardcore/rap/metal/crossover, pick this one up -- cause it's goin platinum! Also- If you're in the New England area-or wherever you are- be sure to SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SCENE!!! reveille is da bomb. They sort of sound like rage, but much heavier. They are so awesome. If you like amen, slipknot or dope, you'll love this CD.
This cd is very good, with no serious clunkers. Highlights include "Permanent", "The Pheonix", and "Fkesh and Blood". You will like Reveille if you like Coal Chamber, The Deftones, and other hard metal acts.
