La Luna
: Sarah Brightman mixes her outherworldly blend of classical and pop in a great new album. I especially enjoyed "This Love" and "Figlio Perduto." I have been a fan for a number of years and am very glad to see her finally getting the attention her music deserves!
I reciently received "La Luna" CD as a gift and heard Sarah's voice for the first time. I was stuned by the richness, clairty and pureness of her voice coupled with the full deep arrangements behind her made it one of my all-time favorites, One of the Best of the Best. Scarborogh Fair is quite breathtaking as are all selections. It provides a cross section of easy listening, classical and pop. The conclusion of "Moon River" is a surprise but altogether to short. "Gloomy Sunday" detracts somewhat from from overall CD tempo. Sahara Brightman is a real treat and a very real talent. "La Luna" is Great Christmas Gift for anyone. My Choice, Sarah's voice is wonderful.. and so are the arrangememts. Try it, you'll like it. A Great addition to any ones collection. "La Luna" by Sarah Brightman
A triumphant return, with thy power of _Eden_ and thy fresh newageness of _Dive_. This album does bring shivers down one's spine, who enjoys such angelic tones that this lass can eminate. Her rendition of "Scarborough Fair" 'tis quite moving. "La Lune" 'tis thy opening that "Eden" 'twas, and makes one yearn for her concert to be nearby. Though there 'tis nae as much classical as _Timeless_ (_Time to say Goodbye_), She does give enough for any newcoming admirer of Classical to embrace what she 'tis fully capable of. Cheers to all of Sarah's Fans, Cheers to ye who are interested yet nay found thy appreciation of her voice, Cheers to Sarah, for Continueing her career. Personally, I can nae await for thy concert, moreso now, aft listening to thy album of _La Luna_. Adieu, :)
I found this new album absolutely heart-breaking and soul-reaching. Sarah's rendition of "Hijo de la Luna" is truly beautiful. I found the opening track "La Luna" intriguing (it reminded me somewhat of the Beatles "Yellow Submarine" off beat attitude). Also the albulm features remarkable musical arrangements and full-sized orchestras that do full credit to Brightman's exquisite voice.
The newest CD put out by classical diva Sarah Brightman. It includes several songs not included on the European Import Version. The best one in my opinion is The First Love, a soft but defined pop song. There are alot of Opera pieces here, but Sarah delivers them in her graceful manner as usual. I would highly recommend La Luna, all the way to the moon.
