: This was the best series ever on TV. The cast was a true mixture of some of the best actors, in any medium. Not only was the acting first rate, but the writng and direction was also top notch. The combination gave us a series that drew you in and made you really care about the characters and understand the world that they were forced to live in.
If you haven't seen it yet, it's truly worth the investment for the DVDs. And for those of us who followed the show, it's my hope that we finally have a chance to get the DVD collection we've been calling for ever since our favorite shows' untimely demise!
The tv series Alias (which has many similarities) + 20 times more action + more mature cast/characters = LA FEMME NIKITA. So if this is what you're looking for, you're in the right place! I received this dvd set today, popped the first dvd in my player, wow, couldn't help but a huge smile in my face reliving those Sunday nights anxious for the next LFN show. And this time without the commercials! And now I can watch them over and over again....mind you I'm not a couch potato but when I see a good one, I stick by it, and I'm telling you (and as many others here have) La Femme Nikita is indeed one heck of a ride!! 10 stars definitely!!
La Femme Nikita has proven to be a highly popular action/drama series, with a wide fan base throughout the world. The ensemble cast, led by the outstanding Roy Dupuis (Michael)and the intriguing Peta Wilson (Nikita), consistently provide compelling performances. The DVDs are eagerly awaited, and will be well worth the investment.
I began watching Season One of La Femme Nikita the minute it was delivered yesterday. The DVD is every bit as captivating
as the original TV show plus contains some very special extras. Seeing LFN again reminds me how far ahead of its' time this production was. The actors are perfectly cast, the plots are addictive, the action is hot, the dialogue is sleek, the clothes are cool and the soundtrack is worthy of separate purchase. I know I have to be patient but I am anxiously looking forward to Season 2 !!
This was hands down the most treacherously fun series on television. You never and I mean never, knew what was going to happen next. I can't wait for the series (all five seasons)to come out on dvd!!!!!
