MuDvAyNe are a group I've recently discovered, and I now believe that this album, Lethal Dosage 50, is one of the best I've heard in years. From the effective opening "Monolith" ( a reference to Kubrick's "2001") that segues into the solid, heavy single, "Dig", followed by the album's most hardcore song, "Internal Primates Forever". After that it becomes a totally compelling, frightening ("Nothing to Gein") and original trip through the world of MuDvAyNe. The thing that surprised me alot while listening to it, was the range of lead singer Kud's emotions and the way the music ( all brilliantly played) blends so well with his constantly changing voice. My personal favorite song is "Pharmaecopia" because it turns from vicious to hollow and sad so beautifully and, for me, contains the album's most powerful moment during the genuinely moving climax. This is one of the most promising bands to come around since TOOL and radiohead started making really dark and mysterious music sound convincing again. I think L.D. 50 is a masterpiece.
I first saw these guys at the Slipknot concert here in San Antonio. they were the first set, and right after their first song i was hooked. by the way the first song in their set was "Dig". Then when the Tattoo the Earth tour came here on Aug 2 i saw them for the second time and once againt they rocked it. The show is nonstop and the intensity never stops either. The album follows suit. it starts out with my personal favorite, Dig which is a definte moshing song. and all the songs are that way. I was expecting the album to start slowing down and get boring and repetitive, but it did the complete oppisite. it maintained the high energy, and i like every song. at times the song can start off slowly with the vocalist kind of seranading, but brace yourself because it will explode with heavy guitar riffs and the bass kickin. So i suggest this album to any hard rock/metal fan. and take any oppertunity to see them live.
I love this CD, it is excellent, filled with great screaming and singing mixed, every single song is full of what Mudvayne does best. My favorite song on this CD has to be Cradle, it is slow at the beginning and blows up with awesome verses. A must buy!
 This band is a very good one. i saw them live and was surprised. they have an enerjenic and powerful sound but they are very straight forward and easy to catch onto. this is a very good cd. buy it!
