: Steve Martin shares the spotlight with show-stealers Sarah Jessica Parker and the most interactive electronic freeway sign I've ever seen in L.A. STORY. People who live in Los Angeles or at least know a lot about the city probably got more jokes than I did, but L.A. STORY was worth seeing.
 Good romance comedy. Good goofy laughs, but don't watch this movie looking for any great depth.
 I agree with the one reviewer who asked "Why hasn't there been a sound track for this movie?" Would love to be able to find the music. Any ideas?
I first saw this movie just a few months after I had moved from the UK to LA. It really spoke to me. I almost died laughing. Someone had taken my observations of the craziness of LA and crystallized it into comedy. What a beautiful movie. Perfect for me.
Steve Martin at his best. LA Story is the perfect blend of an endearing love story and an on-the-floor-laughng comedy. New discoveries each and every time you watch it keep the movie fresh, while the outstanding cinematography and off-beat story line make the movie an instant classic.
