It's Time
: If you've been searching for that all too rare CD that has everything you value in music - great vocals, brilliant songs and masterful arrangements - look no further. This is the one! If I could give it 6 stars I would. I had heard of Linda Eder but never had heard her. What an introduction to a fantastic talent! Her voice is astounding in both it's range and power. It's an incredible joy to listen to the beauty and emotional intensity of her singing. The songs are almost as appealing as Eder herself and were mostly written by her husband Frank Wildhorn (lyrics by Jack Murphy). They are without exception very intelligent and sophisicated (and sometimes very witty). I WILL be buying everything else she has (or will) record. Treat yourself to a rare delight!
I first heard Linda sing "Vienna" on ROSIE and was blown away at what I heard. Instantly I purchased this cd out of curiosity to find out, Who is Linda Eder? Well needless to say I was beyond excited as to what I heard. The voice, the songs...seriously are incredible. What I really liked about the cd was the fact that I did not know of a lot of these songs, but each one captivated me. The quality of Linda's voice, and how she brings such vivid life to the lyrics is truly amazing. A lot of the songs were written by her talented husband. Her "Man of La Mancha" is simply wonderful, "Big Time" is stuck in my head! This is truly one of the Best cd's I own. Each song gives me that "favorite song" feeling. I took a chance on liking this cd and have gotten back way more than I expected. This cd is a "must have" and Simply said, Linda Eder is a DIVA
Linda Eder has been compared to the best. But her smooth rich voice and individual style sets her apart from the rest. I leave it to individual taste to atest who is best - I can only promise that she comfortably fits in the highest category of female vocal artists. I have seen her in Jeckyl & Hyde, and own all her albums. There are few artists I can say I have done that. Enjoy!
If you thought Streisand was good, get prepared to hear great! I had the privilege of seeing and hearing Linda Eder in Jekyll and Hyde before it hit Broadway. Wow! I was amazed at this absolutely beautiful voice and talent. I became an instant fan. I own all of her CDs and this is my favorite, other than the soundtrack of Jekyll and Hyde. You will be blown away by her performance of Man of La Mancha. That song plus Over the Rainbow and Someone Like You is enough to buy this CD, but being the special entertainer she is, Linda Eder delivers on every song. If you are a Linda Eder fan or just getting to know her, this is the CD you should own!
This was the first Linda Eder CD that I ever bought! After listening to this CD Linda became my favorite singer. Her voice is beautiful. There is not one song on this CD that I don't love! You won't regret buying this wonderful CD!
