 Oh my God!!! Karen, Karen, Karen... YOu did it again! This is up there with the first ablum. Those out there who have been waiting. It is finally here. The CD we have been looking for the one that keep your spirits and faith up. Karen is in wonderful voice. This project has definitly showed the world why she is known as the Angel of Gospel Music. I have listen to this CD all day and I am listening to it now. Favor and You Showed Me are two of the 12 treats that will keep you going. This is one CD that needs to be in Clark Sister collection.

Okay....I had to take a couple of days the listen to the entire CD... Overall...it's okay....that's all I can say...I think the change of producers was a bit edgy....Something we have to remember is that the producer in the past (Donald Lawrence) grew up listening to the Clark sisters....he even stated " I went to school for a few people..." and the list consisted of The Clark Sisters...Donald knew what to do with the sound from back in the day...from reproducing "Balm in Gilead" to going onto "We Are Not Ashamed"....Donald knew what he was doing with her voice....on the flip side.... I LOVE THE MINISTRY GOD HAS GIVEN TO ISREAL HOUGHTON...I have all his New Breed recordings...live and studio....but his mix with Karen will have to become an "acquire taste"..... I have come to realize that what she has done began on the last CD....(God is Here and Glorious)...and I said " self " and self said... "I already see it"......-Self and I were ready for the next recording- so I had been looking for this CD since I heard about the live recording (which I heard was the bomb....just a plain ole STUPID and FONKY service!!!!..) ...but when I got the CD....(bought two copies ..I just knew it was going to be good)...but I was disappointed ...Im really feelin... "I Never Will"....and "Hallelujah"... (which reminds you of Clark classics...and let's you know that if anyone could write for any other Clark sister ...it's Twinkie)..... `Authority' remind me of `Take it by Force' from the Azusa series....the transition...(it wasn't even a transition)...wasn't good......I'm pretty sure during the concert...it flowed like crystal river.......but on the CD from The Lord's Prayer to Hallelujah was not thought through.....The rest of the CD was okay.....that's it...and I only liked it because... of passion and desire for God in her voice...but you could have given Israel the mic and I would have been just as happy...Praise & Worship music is becoming more popular....it is styled a little different which allows for more interaction and invitation to the congregation... "Come on and clap your hand....lift your head to the sky and cry holy...." It's more of a hands on minstrel......versus just sitting there and feeling the Lord go by.....A lot of people are moving and herding into this field... (which is more less a lifestyle...not merely a style of music...but to each his own) ...ANYWAYS.....enough of my soapbox.......I'm assuming Karen was trying to enter this style of music....which was successful...but a lil edgy......I may have to repent later .....but this wasn't a signature album.....
