: I love this book and although you know most of these things and you know this is how you should be behaving, Greg reminds us to do it in a way that we all need! He gives us the proverbial kick in the butt some of us need when going through a major heart wrenching split... He has genuinely helped me realize that I deserve more and its okay to let go and seek more fabulous experiences! Thanks Greg and enjoy girls!
 If this is your first breakup and you have no idea what to do, this book could help you. However, its nothing earthshattering, but the same advice anyone gives you. Also, it is written mostly for women who have been dumped. It talks about getting over this evil person, well, in my case, I was the one ending things, so it really wasn't relevant. This isn't the book for the person ending the relationship. That said, it does have some good points.
 Nice marketing try, he will probably sell quite a few books, but this is a totally useless book in terms of really helping people review their emotional journey through life, love and relationships. You out there, I know you are suffering because you are going through a break up or you are still not over your ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend. If you want some instant gratification and want to cheat yourself pretending you are doing something meaningful about it, please go on and buy this book. But if you are looking for good answers and a real understanding of what's happening or has happened to you, do me a favor, read some real, good stuff.

Each author went through several bad relationships and breakups before meeting each other, and some of their personal experiences are detailed in the book. Having already traveled the road to breakup recovery, the authors are well qualified to dispense advice for recovery.
While writen for women, the advice in the book is equally applicable to men as it is to women. My only criticism of the book is the advice provided by the authors is extremely repetitive. If each piece of advice was only mentioned once, the book would only be half as long. Perhaps the same advice needs to be repeated several times over for it to sink in to some readers. However, it seemed unnecessarily repetitive to me.
The "Psycho Confessionals" and Breakup Horror Stories alone are worth the price of the book.
The book provides sound advice for anyone, man or woman, in any stage of a relationship breakup. The book is both entertaining and educational.
Highly recommended.
 Let me tell you if his wife didnt have him, this guy would be taken in a heartbeat,.. a great second book to knock some sense into women who are in the throes of a breakup.
I have downloaded both of his books and its on my Ipod as I play him in my head all the time.. I know find myself spouting "gregisms".. and don't waste my time with the wrong guys anymore.. it is a lot more simple then women realize.
THE ONLY problem I had was with the longer audio edition.. in the short version Greg and his wife read.. but in the longer version some other guy is reading and its just awful.. Greg can get away with saying "super fox" this other guy sounds like a pitchy annoying car salesman.. very fake.. I had to turn off that version after five minutes.. so I wish Greg would have done his own audio on the longer version.
IF he does you bet I am downloading it... Greg Behrendt should be in EVERY womans head.. its way overdue.. you will not be dissapointed with this book or the audio (well except, as said, the long version.. ugh!)
