Here are some customer reviews of Invincible : So, He returns. The first single, ok but nothing special. So what to think of the new album. Well the opening track Unbreakable, reminds us of the Dangerous album, lovley heavy beat with lush vocals. Some other higlights are, the super song Speechless, the very Micheal Jackson style 2000 watts, with the very deep vocals. This is a very groovy track. Theres the Stranger in Moscow like track Break of dawn. The beautiful Cry the hardcore Threatened and personal Privacy. The Invincible track sounds a lot like the Spice Girls Forever, obviously the influence of Rodney Jenkins. If you are a Michael fan you wont be dissapointed, and in fact if you are a newcommer there is somthing for everyone. If compeared to another album it resembles Dangerous. It crushes the History album. Well done Michael. I am a faithful music fan coming from China, I brought MJ's Invincible through AMAZON. I just want to say: Michael is really the king of Pop, ever!!!! In this album, many tracks should stand out for singles. Like Unbreakable, which MJ's favorite; Speechless, like a Gosple Hormony; Whatever Happens, with beautifully arranged Latino melody; Break of dawn, which performed in a smooth, touchable melody; 2000 Watts, Michael sang in a totally different voice; Cry, the amazing piece co-produced with R.Kelly, which very mush sounds like the "Man in the mirror" in MJ's album BAD. ... Michael is doing his own music all time, he never produced what don't belongs to him, he has his unique style, with amazing talent, he presents the world the best music of all. Whatever tobloid you 've heard, he is making miracle all the time. In a word, INVINCIBLE is worth keeping, if you still don't get it, just close your PC and run to buy it! Michael is coming back, he is banging our world right now!!!!!!! After 6 years of waiting, I expected so much from Michael and I was dissappointed. He's repeating himself in terms of lyrics and music!! Sure, if it wasn't Michael this would be an album that any artist would kill for. But IT IS Michael and it's just not as good as his previous work. As usual, there are 4 basic themes here> 1. Michael is abused by a seductive woman (Billie Jean, Dirty Diana, Dangerous) that he just can't resist. Yet, he'll survive: Heartbreaker, Unbreakable. 2. Michael prays for the children and for a better world (We are the world, Heal the world, Earth song): Cry (the ending is just copied from Man in the mirror!!! isn't it the "make that change" 14 years later?) and The lost children. 3. Michael defends himself from the evil people that use his celebrity (most of the HIStory issues): Privacy. 4. Michael in love (with who?? It's better if we don't know. Here he goes back to the R&B that he hadn't explored in a long time, and we get the best songs like Butterflies or Break of dawn. My favorites would be the single (You rock my world, but it would be so much better without the Chris Rock intro) and Whatever happens. Don't misunderstand my words: I do believe that Michael is one of the greatest artists ever. Invincible is just not as good as Dangerous, Bad, Thriller or the uneven HIStory. After I got the CD I was blown away once again by MJ's ability to tear the airwaves up. This CD is too bangin and if you don' have it yet I would advise you to pick it up. From track one to track sixteen be prepared to hear dance tracks that are "off tha hook" to ballads that will melt your soul. Good Job MJ !!! This album is MJ 2001! The evolution in his music is amazing. His new music gets right to your heart, just where it came from. With this album MJ isnýt only the true King of Pop, but the Master of the Big Beat! He is truly invincible!
