Here are some customer reviews of Delirium Cordia :

With Fantomas releasing their 3rd album it was hard to tell what was coming. I was actually surprised at how subdued this album was. Delirium Cordia is an album that consists of one track and that track is 74 minutes long. There is a good bit of ambient sounds on this cd as there are on other Fantomas albums.Delirium Cordia was not quite what I expected. The ambient noises seem to be quite subtle and lead up to something, but in the end they don't lead up to what you would have expected. There were times when I forgot I was listening to the cd. There are a couple outbreaks of craziness on this album but nothing like the latter Fantomas albums. Delirium Cordia is definitely a lot more subdued. It was definitely intriguing enough to listen to the entire thing. I,myself personally enjoy the frantic insanity of the other Fantomas albums. Delirium Cordia is definitely original. If you are familiar with Fantomas it's worth a listen, if this is your first time I suggest the other two albums to get a feel of what Fantomas is.

Fantomas is simply amazing. This, however, is not the album to start on if you are new to the band. It's one-track approach makes it slightly impracticle (sorta like the 30-track approach of their first CD). The first 50 minutes are brilliantly eerie, but the conclusion is a pretensious 1-second beep cycle... WITH NOTHING AT THE END! I drove around in my car for twenty minutes waiting to see what loud guitar riff or screaming Patton-something... but no, there was nothing. I will probably recut it myself, inserting tracks (because there are obvious breaks).

Was that confusing? If you are a fan of Fantomas then buy the CD; you won't be disappointed. If you haven't heard them but like music like Mr. Bungle or the Melvins, start with Director's Cut.

I was one of those people who was at Best Buy when they opened this morning because I could not wait any longer to hear the newest offering from Mike Patton and company. The album is one 74 minute track, which changes it up very nicely quite often throughout the entire album (the last 15 or so minutes are virtually the same sound, and it actually reminded me of the beginning of the hidden track Disgustipated from Tool's Undertow). The rest of the album is excellent. It changes it up very well, yet has the ability to go together as one large piece of music. It is really cool that they made the album one large track, but the only downside is that finding the place in which you left off more time consuming to get to. You can definately tell that this is a Fantomas album, the crazy sound that they are known for are everpresent in this album, but I feel that Delirium Cordia has better focus and more listenability than the debut album. If you look through the book before listening to it, you will pick up a relationship between the book and the cd itself. Overall, I don't know what else to say other than Delirium Cordia is a great album, and that Mike Patton is the most underappreciated musician that there is. His voice can do anything, just look at all of the different types of singing that we have heard from him throughout his numerous band career. By the way, buy this album!!

Exellently arranged and produced, this is the soundtrack that your subconscious speaks of.

Itýs simply the best work since fantomas is on the road, because got everything, emotion, power, rarelees, itýs a great album, and i love it.

If the directorýs cut was a cool album this is two times better.

you must got it men!.
