Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Vol. 4
: Author Patterson paints a very disturbing picture and backs it up with insightful endnotes and substantive research. Why have liberals been such poor stewards of our armed forces? And what would John Kerry bring to the WH?
Its their ideological bent and one borne in the anti-war movement of the Vietnam conflict. Liberals, from George McGovern to John Kerry, do not feel that American military power is justified unless international organizations (the United Nations) sanctions it. Liberals, since the 1960s, have linked the American military to government excess, corporate scandal, and moral corruption.
Want proof? Patterson details Jimmy Carter's disasterous, embarrassing 4 years and the complete devastation of our military capability. He personally witnessed, as both a pilot and senior officer in the Clinton White House, the demoralizing failure of leadership and a complete gutting of military forces and equipment. In fact, Patterson calls Clinton "the most incompetent commander in chief in our country's history."
His most damning review centers on John Kerry, not only the Vietnam era version but the one who failed in his 20 years in the Senate to do anything for our armed forces or intelligence services. He interviews American POWs held in the Hanoi Hilton and their impressions of Kerry's service. He details Kerry's treasonous activities WHILE STILL IN THE US NAVY upon his return from VN. He rightly shows that Kerry shouldn'tbe anywhere near the senate much less a presidential candidate. He should be breaking up rocks in captivity at Ft Leavenworth.
Finally, reviewers who pan this book have obviously not read it. In fact, in one case, the lib reviewer wouldn't even check it out of the library for free!! Give us facts not your ideological and emotional screed. If you can find one factual innacurracy then bring it to our attention. I didn't find a single one and I did my on verification on several points.
This is a terrific book and one that will last for years. Arm yourself with knowledge prior to Nov 2. You'll be glad you did.
Given the amount of time in theater and lack of engagements he was involved in John Kerry probably out did Audie Murphy in the medals he was awarded. Audie Murphy probably the highest decorated soldier in the history of America didn't even get to come home early for the medals he won.
If your unable to obtain the blacklisted book "Unfit for Command" I'd highly recommend this book as it backs up everything the former presents. The only factual error I found in this book was that the author wrote that F-102's were not in Vietnam. F-102's were in fact in Vietnam. George Bush tried to get an assignment flying F-102's in Vietnam but was turned down because he had not acquired 500 hours of training time that was required. The F-102 was taken out of Vietnam in Dec of '69 George Bush was not completed with his 500 hours until Jun of 1970.
In any case I highly recommend this book as a companion to "Unfit For Command" !!
In his first book, "Dereliction of Duty," Buzz Patterson divulged his eyewitness account of the many ways Bill Clinton compromised America's national security. Buzz was, after all, one of Clinton's senior aides and entrusted with carrying the "nuclear suitcase."
In this book, which is even better, Buzz takes the gloves off. He calls John Kerry a traitor for his post-Vietnam War activities. He even reproduces the entire manuscript of Kerry's testimony before congress in 1971 in which Kerry calls his "brothers in arms" war criminals, murderers and rapists. But he doesn't stop there. He calls Hillary Clinton a traitor for using her visit to the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq as a political podium for selfish personal political gain.
Similarly, he's not done with Clinton yet. He squarely challenges the Clinton administration, and Richard Clarke in particular, on their many failures in meeting the threat of terror.
Buzz Patterson is a gifted writer, a retired military officer, a commercial airline pilot, and a national security expert. This is the book to buy to educate yourself for not only this election but elections to come. Buzz hits another home run!
Book lacks any serious credability. Simple and poorly articulated right wing propaganda. Save your money, buy a comic book instead.
The two best books to read this year in anticipation of the presidential election are this book and "Unfit for Command." Liberals cannot refute the unrefutable...and it's killing them! "Unfit for Command" by John O'Neill illustrates in very vivid detail the many ways that John Kerry lied and manipulated his way to medals and a political career. "Reckless Disregard" details in explicit detail how Kerry's dishonesty ties into the greater fabric of the liberal dilemma: born in the peace movement of the 1960s, liberals haven't matured one iota. They still chant the same mantras, they still see America as evil, they still believe (although they pledge to "support the troops") that America's military is morally corrupt and illegitimate. What a great read for our nation at this very perilous time!! These two books put it all together. No more Michael Moore crap. This is the reality. As Jack Nicholson said, "you can't handle the truth!" Artfully done and completely verifiable. Bring it on!!
