 This recording is slammin, ain't no frontin on that, but it's no D-Nice. When I was rollin in the renault alliance with copper teeth, parachute pants and pro wings V7s I had nothing on the alpine but D-Nice. Call me Dnice was off the hook as the TR808 throwing shot outs to Scott La Rock and the Bizzle. "Call me D-nice" is still the greatest hip hop track ever laid on vinyl to this day. It is smooth and nice and tight and efficient. Slim thug doesn't bring anything to the table that's not already there. Yeah, yeah, yeah you're already platinum, whoopteedoo. Dnice brought the NY street sound home to tha point that he could claim any city as his own. Dat be the dizzee. I rolled, and still do, with big rope chains and a boomin system on the streets of Gretna with so much cred, it's falling out the truck. Where my hos at??? In my car of course. Dnice is what happens when you take the grit of Ralph Macchio in the Karate Kid and add a pinch of thuggerish booshaka. Slim Thug is junk(I think that's the new ghetto term for tight?), ain't no doubt about it, but he's not slammin like Dnice. Dnice pulled your ho card in the early 90s and you were so blown away you didn't care.

This Slim Thug CD is gangsta for real. "Already Platinum" is a good title because he is already what da average person would consider platinum he has da bentley, da big house, da money from being a true hustla, all he need to go wit all dat is a platinum plaque.
