Reports Of Bugs

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

There is a recent report done by a university or college that was launched that states that bed bugs in hotels have increased by 80percent in the past ten years. This is an worrying amout and one that should bring us all to do some thing about it. When entering your space put your bags in the restroom and due a visible examination of the space. Make sure you take a look at the furniture, headboard and specifically the bed mattress. The resort is intended to do an examination, however it is usually a good idea to carry out your own check, as you are the one at risk and remaining in the area.

Graduation in Six Years No Shame For Student With Disabilities

Monday, August 30th, 2010

When my best friend Christine decided to come to college with me, of course we decided to room together. We also had very similar majors and took a lot of the same courses. She has had problems with school all her life due to dyslexia but she’s made it through none the less. She found a group for learning disabled college students to help her out with her school work when I couldn’t. While I graduated in four years, she took six. But, I told her not to worry about that as many students who had no problems took that long to graduate.

Attending Firefighting Training

Monday, August 30th, 2010

The time has finally arrived. I am slightly nervous but I know I can complete the task in front of me. I am starting my firefighting training course today. I actually get to take a few courses online, which is good. My mom called me this morning to wish me good luck. I love how supportive my family is being. I am a very lucky person to have a family like mine. I really hope this course will not be too hard. I have always wanted to be a firefighter and would be disappointed if I did not pass. I am not going to let that happen.

Knowing When To Register For The SAT’s

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

Taking the SATs is a requirement in colleges and universities that people need to have to pass in order to be eligible for admission into the school of our choice. As a result, preparing for the test is one thing that we all need to seriously think about if we desire to pass with flying colors.

One way to totally prepare for the examination is to take note of the upcoming SAT test dates so we can have an idea of just how much time we have to comprehensively study for the examination just before taking it.

For the years 2010-2011, there are SATs scheduled for the months of October, November, and December for 2010; and January, March, May and June for 2011. We must however frequently verify for updates in SAT examination dates so we can register within the offered registration time period.

Teachers Work Long Hours for Little Pay

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

Teachers work long hours, often under stressful conditions, for little pay. They do it because they love children, but it can also be easy for them to burn out if they don’t feel that the parents of the children they teach are grateful for what they do. However, if you send your child’s teacher regular thank you notes, you will be surprised at how much of a difference it will make in her life. When I had children, I made a habit of doing exactly this, and I even had one teacher come to me with tears of gratitude in her eyes to tell me how much it meant to her.
